Overview of the Nebraska Transportation Center

NTC NTC NTC NTC NTC NTC NTC The development and maintenance of a rapid, safe, and efficient transportation system is critical to the economic health of Nebraska. As such, the University of Nebraska has developed many widely respected transportation education, research, and outreach programs at NU. The success of these programs is illustrated by the more than $10 million dollars in transportation research now underway at the University of Nebraska.

As can be seen in the accompanying diagram the NTC consists of numerous research groups. The groups are divided based on area of specialty and the NTC is set up to conduct research in all facets of transportation. To find out more about any or our research groups please select the appropriate title on the icon and you will be brought to the website for this group. For example, to find out about the work done at the NTCs MidWest Roadside Safety Facility, which has garnered a truly international reputation in the design of roadside safety devices, simply select the structures and safety group and then select the MwRSF button.
